Happy Easter Wall Decor Project featuring Cottontail and We R Flower Punch with Ginny

Hello There Friends and a Happy Friday to you!

I hope you're all doing well. Ginny here today to share a fun and vintage-y holiday wall hanging I created for Easter. Spring has sprung and I'm so excited to use this colorful and fun new BoBunny paper!

Happy Easter Wall Hanging by Ginny Nemchak for BoBunny using the Cottontail Collection and WeRMemory Keepers Flower Punch Board

I'm using the oh-so-sweet Cottontail Collection for this charming little decor piece. For the base I created a large flower with the We R Memory Keepers Flower Punch Board and some patterned paper then added it to a layer of Double Dot cardstock for a nice border and to give a bit of sturdiness.

The Noteworthy die cuts have a fabulous selection of coordinating themed elements to choose from. I was going for a shabby chic color scheme so I picked the white fluffy bunny and layered it over the picket fence from the Layered Chipboard Stickers.

To balance the right hand side of the wall hanging I added an arrangement of BoBunny Blossoms to coordinate with the patterned papers.  Additional patterns from the collection, the Double Dot paper and the scalloped edge from one of the die cuts add detail and interest to the bottom.

A few eyelets with gingham ribbon strung through create a hanger for displaying. Doilies tucked in create fullness in the arrangement and provide a break from the busy patterns.  Last but not least a few Double Dot Jewels for  a little sparkle and shine.

Sit back and watch the step by steps if you'd like! Thanks for dropping in today!  See you again soon!

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : )

Vintage Inspired Mixed Media Layout featuring Charmed and On this Day with Marilyn

Hello everyone!!  It's Marilyn here,  I hope all of you are good today!  For my project today, I  made a mixed media layout combining two collections: Charmed and On this Day.  There were so many yummy elements from each collection and I just didn't want to have to choose between them!

My base paper is the "Dance" from the Charmed collection. It has a beautiful design with zig-sag stitches. First, I applied gesso with a paint brush in the area that I was going to apply paints. Once dry, I added textures with the Lace Stickable stencil and Modeling Paste.

I cut out  images from papers of the On This Day collection. The cute girl and the photo mat are from the March paper and the butterflies are from the April paper.  The book at the bottom of the photo is from the Perfection paper of the Charmed collection.  I rolled the edges of the paper on the photo mat and the book to give the paper some lift and texture.

I cut and adhered pieces of the Chocolate jewels behind each butterfly to create the effect of the flight route.

I added flower and doily from the Clover Dahlia blossom package and adhered some Emerald pearls seen below:

I hope you find some inspiration! Thanks for stopping by...until next time!

Hello Spring! - A Handmade Card Duo featuring BoBunny Clear Stamps and Double Dot Designs with Angela

Hello Friends! It's Angela here today to welcome you to the BoBunny blog.

It's finally springtime, and the daylight is slowly becoming longer.  Here in Italy, the weather in my town is getting a bit warmer. Yeah!!

To worthily welcome spring, I created a couple of cards, using the BoBunny Floral Stamp set, but utilizing two different techniques.

For both cards, I started mounting all the flowers and the leaves of the stamp set on my Stamp Block, so that I could stamp them all in ones. For stamping, I used watercolor paper and then I heat-embossed with white embossing powder. Last, I colored each flower and leaf using watercolor pen brushes.

Then, with a bit of patience, I fussy cut all the pieces. It's worth the time for me to cut the pieces, because the end result is always beautiful.

The first card, the pink one, has a romantic style and a more clean look. It is created on a white square cardstock and mounted on a pink card.

All the flowers are mounted on a gold wire wreath that I made simply rolling the wire in a circle.

The sentiment Happy Spring is stamped and heat-embossed on a punched circle of vellum and stuck with a couple of glue dots in the center of the wreath.
A few other details like a tied ribbon and some dots and voilĂ , the card is finished.

The second card, the light blue one, has a mottled, watercolor look because I went for a mixed-media background.

I prepared the surface with white gesso, I colored it with the packaging technique, then I stenciled with structure paste.
For the rest, the method I used to make it is always the same, with the gold wire wreath in the center of the card and the flowers glued to the top of it.

This time the flowers are gathered on one side of the wreath and the sentiment is heat-embossed in black. As a finishing touch, I added a few drops of gold mist here and there.

I hope you like these two similar but different kind of card and I would be curious to know which one you prefer and why.

Thanks for stopping by and see you next time.

Stay Awhile! 12 x12 "Paper Patchwork" Layout with Katherine

Hi All,

Welcome to the blog today.  It's Katherine here and I've made a page using Stay Awhile and some quilt like squares, showing of both sides of the papers, revesing the circles into kind of patchwork pattern.

It is sometimes hard to choose which side of the paper I like best, so this technique works really well for when you want to show both sides.  I cut out lots of 3" circles and then scored the edges and folded them in so the circles became squares and you get to see both sides of the papers!  You can watch what I do in the video below.

To further decorate some of the squares I added some of the intricately cut wooden hearts.

I used the Double Dot Damask paper French Vanilla as the base - it makes a beautiful vintage background.

I layered up some of the stickers for the title area and used the Let There Be Light stamps for the title.

I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks for popping in today!

Papermade Tea Pot and Teacup Set featuring Stay Awhile with Solange

Hello BoBunny Fans!

How about a Tea Party today?  This isn't your typical sit down for tea, but a fun papercrafting project with a "tea party" theme!  I'll share with you today with some pieces for a tea party using Stay Awhile collection.

The icons and elements in this collection along with the earthy and rich color combination brings to mind an almost tangible  feeling of warmth and coziness.  I thought this would be just right for this idea inviting us to a delicious and comforting "tea party".

tea party by Solange Marques featuring BoBunny Stay Awhile collection

First of all, I used my cutting machine to cut out the template on the cardstock:

Then, I  assembled the pieces with everything put together, folding, gluing as I went on.  Once you find a template like this you want to cut on your own cutting machine, it's just a matter of picking the prettiest paper to cover it.

Finally, I covered the cardstock  using patterned papers, using the original template as a pattern to cut the pieces for each section of the teapots.

And to complete, I've created a cup, saucer and spoon:
